First and foremost, I gotta say I am Loving my water cooler. It is so, so, so awesome. I didn't think I'd have much use for the hot water feature right now, but am loving it. Have drunk enough cups of tea in last 2 days that I can slosh when I walk - Heaven :)
Haiku to my water cooler:
I love my cooler
it delivers hot and cold
to quench all my thirst.
You will notice in my last few posts, I have been illustrating my blog. The problem is I have miss-placed my real sketchbook, so have resorted to using a small notebook for the time being, so bear with the lines. We were going to go see the rock musical at the theater yesterday, but the entire family decided we'd rather be bums. Except Ivy, she ran off to play with friends. The rest of us chill-axed in front of the tv/computer. I am now to last 3 episodes of Inuyasha. Anime is one thing that is pretty reliable for being able to access no matter where you are. It is very frustrating that I can't access free videos on-line through the networks b/c of being in Europe - some kind of copy-right thing. Now for the links:
I may be all for earth-friendly, eco-conscious stuff, but there are some things that are just way too much. Examples:
reusable toilet wipes - to replace toilet paper
crocheted / handmade reusable tampons & pads (2 different links)
Is there anything you can contribute to this over-the-top green movement, please comment, I would love to see what else is out there. I am fascinated.
Have you ever seen National Geographic's Infinite photograph? Prepare to putter away some time as you keep clicking to see what's next. It is just amazing.
I love the Junior Society. I am not sure where I first saw them referenced, but have never regretted signing up for their newsletter. I am always finding out about fun and interesting things through them. Recent: First - doodlebread - how cool is that? 2nd- did you know that Tim Burton was remaking Alice in Wonderland? I can NOT wait til that comes out. There is much more, but I will leave that to you to browse at your liesure.
If you feel like doodling, how about a giraffe? This guy is trying to collect one million giraffes all drawn by hand, it's pretty cool. just draw, take a pic (or scan) of your drawing & upload it to the site & you're done.
That's it for today, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend & enjoying your summer.
